Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Guide: Things It Doesn't Tell You: Part 2
Positioning Is Key
Before making an attack in combat, be aware of how your character is positioned. Ideal positioning is key to eliminating your enemies as quickly as possible. Line up enemies to knock down multiple foes at once, and keep your allies close to perform combo attacks as your bonds deepen. You can also grab various items from the world around you to serve as impromptu weapons.
Weapon Attacks Aren't Always Recommended
However, grabbing a weapon isn't always the best option in combat. While weapon attacks can do a lot of damage, there are plenty of other things you can do too. You can team up with an ally to perform a Tag Team, use a skill to deal status effects or elemental damage, or grapple an enemy to break their guard.
Switch Between Kiryu's Styles As Needed
Kazuma Kiryu, the returning protagonist from previous Yakuza titles, has a unique personal job: Dragon of Dojima. This job lets Kiryu take advantage of all the knowledge he gained during his old adventures by fighting in a variety of different styles. You can switch between styles each time Kiryu makes an attack, and you should always consider which style is best suited to your current situation. Rush Style lets him attack twice, while Heat Style can potentially trigger powerful Heat Actions. Finally, Beast Style allows Kiryu to grapple enemies and break their guard.
